Years ago boarding houses were common in Newfoundland and provided many locals with gainful employment as servants. Although the work was demanding and the times hard, the servants did their best to add a little humour to their lives, whether it was intentional or not. Some of the servants knew how to treat their guests while others were, well, a little rough around the edges, if you know what we mean. "At Your Service!" is a show in which servants and silliness are the order of the day at Ryan’s Boarding House. We hope you enjoy this lighthearted look at days gone by!
